The Scarlett House – Rachel Howells 1856 is a reproduction sampler.
A reproduction of a traditional sampler with Adam and Eve, the Tree of Life, house, birds and flowers.
The pattern is worked in whole cross stitch only using Needlepoint Silks or DMC alternatives.
The stitch count is 319 by 280 and the model was stitched on 40 count linen.
The original sampler was stitched on canvas using wool. This is a Welsh Sampler.
