Description
One of my very favorite holiday traditions is the lighting of the Advent candles at my church each of the four Sunday mornings leading up to Christmas Eve. As a follow up to my previously released “Advent Candles Ornament Set” I decided to create another less-traditional group of ornaments to add to my growing collection of stitched pieces that hang on my tree every year.
I used the same basic four words, “Joy”, “Love”, “Peace”, & “Hope” that correlate with the lighting of candles in my church tradition. I paired the words with festive little scenes, stitched them on a linen the color of Winter sky, and wrapped them with candy-striped butcher’s twine.
