There is no known history of this sampler except that it was owned by two elderly sisters who resided in Illinois, in the United States.
Their grandparents were originally from Sweden.
This sampler was acquired from a local estate sale from Illinois.
The focal point of this sampler is an eagle adorned with maple leaves with oak leaf border and four symmetrical plant motifs.
