Wasn’t it Jane Austen who said, “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a person in possession of a good needlepoint will want for nothing more”? Well no, it wasn’t, but she DID say, “Ah! There is nothing like staying at home, for real comfort” which pretty much amounts to the same thing.

So… for those of a crafty ‘persuasion’… put off those gentlemen callers, tell your carriage driver to take the day off and pen your acceptance to the local ball tomorrow. Retire to the drawing room, take tea with your needlework and get to know your own happiness instead.

This kit is worked in tent stitch and includes a 12hpi colour printed canvas, Appleton Wools, needles and instructions.

The finished design measures 30cm x 35cm (12 x 14 inches) approx.
