Description
A miniature winged chair stitched in canvaswork by My Beautiful Stitches
This design uses a variety of simple evenweave embroidery stitches to create a beautiful miniature chair. It is inspired by a Morris & Company armchair held in the Decorative Arts collection of the Art Gallery of South Australia. The pattern shows you all the embroidery stitches required to complete the project as well as the construction techniques required to put the chair together. The completed chair can be used as a pincushion, as a delightful miniature, or purely to bring a little decorative joy to your favourite mantelpiece.
When worked on 24 count congress canvas the finished chair measures approximately 11cm x 10cm x 14cm.
