Description

A sampler of eight styles of Ukrainian embroidery. Some traditionally whitework, and others worked in colour, alongside traditional Ukrainian floral cross-stitch designs. Some of the techniques included are: Latana (needle-weaving), Zatiahanka, Obmana (false cutwork techniques), Vyrizuvannya and Poltava Merezhka. Comprehensive stitch diagrams and construction instructions are included. This is a partner piece to Ukrainian Hussif / Samplers #1 & #2.
