Designs for Autumn and Halloween.

The 52 page booklet has twelve designs of samplers, pin cushions and bags. The patterns are worked in whole cross stitch and some with eyelet stitch using overdyed floss. DMC alternatives are given for all. There are detailed making up instructions with templates.

The patterns are:-

Spell of the Moon – a pincushion with owl and full moon stitches in whole cross stitch using one shade of Classic Colorworks, one of Gentle Arts and one of Weeks Dye Works. The model was worked on 32 count linen and has a stitch count of 65 by 89;

October the 31st – a round pincushion worked in whole cross stitch and eyelet stitch in a single shade of Gentle Arts floss. The stitch count is 76 by 75 and the model was worked on 32 count linen;

Nebraska Prairie – a drum pinkeep stitched in whole cross stitch and eyelet stitches in four shades of Weeks Dye Works over 108 by 47 stitches. The model was worked on 36 count linen;

A Sister’s Love – an alphabet sampler. Worked in whole cross stitch and eyelet stitch using four shades of Weeks Dye Works on 36 count linen, this has a stitch count of 149 by 155;

Bittersweet September – a pincushion in 10 shades of Gentle Arts floss in whole cross stitch only. The stitch count is 95 by 93 and the model was worked on 32 count linen;

Autumn Sound – A round pincushion in 11 shades of Weeks Dye Works, worked in 36 count linen over 47 by 51 stitches;

Blooming Sunflowers – a sewing bag in 10 shades of Weeks Dye Works on 36 count linen over 71 by 66 stitches;

First Winds of Autumn – a strawberry pin cushion using 10 shades of Weeks Dye Works. The stitch count is 174 by 118 and the model was worked on 36 count linen;

Patchwork Pumpkin – in one shade of Classic Colorworks, two of Weeks Dye Works and nine of Gentle Arts floss this has a stitch count of 103 by 103;

Waiting for the Harvest – crows on pumpkins in a single shade, this has a stitch count of 89 by 51 and the model was worked on 32 count linen;

Sewing Companions – a little pincushion, scissors fob and box top stitched in whole cross stitch using Weeks Dye Works Mascara. Stitch counts are 47 by 13, 20 x 19 and 23 by 31 all stitched on 30 count linen;

Mighty Acorns – a sampler in 13 shades of Weeks Dye Works, worked over 119 by 185 stitches on 36 count linen.
